The change in temperature. The football games. The pre-holiday prep. It’s a feeling of joy. Anticipation. Peace.
And most of all, gratitude.
It’s fall! And that in and of itself, makes us here at Army Wife Network grateful.
But as usual, our reasons to be thankful don’t stop there.
We are so thankful for your—our network, our people, our tribe. You are a blessing to all of us here at AWN, and yes, you are the reason we keep doing what we do, day after day, week after week, season after season, year after year.
So thanks for that. Seriously.
If you have been around for awhile, you know that we want to show our appreciation to you in whatever ways we can. Ideally, we would invite you over to our respective homes for a fall bonfire or to our local homecoming football game. But, since our Command Team members are scattered throughout duty stations around the globe, the logistics of that makes it rather difficult.
(If anyone has an app that lets us roast marshmallows remotely, please let us know.)
Since s’mores are not a possibility to say thanks, we hope to give you the next best thing: A nifty printable that you can download and use from the comfort of your own home.
This month is all about gratitude, so check out the printable below. You can use it how you like and make as many copies as you need. Perhaps you want to do a 30-day gratitude challenge with your family. You can write your blessings on the leaves and decorate your kitchen (or living room wall or your bathroom mirror!). If you are the snazzy crafty type, might we recommend you create your own fall “tree” with the leaves.
If you are feeling extra motivated, print the document on different colored paper (brown, red, yellow, and orange) to really get that fall feel. This is highly recommended if you live in a place where the season of “fall” is a figment of your imagination… Like Hawaii or the desert of West Texas.
