Weather: Typical southeast weather patterns are the norm in Fort Benning. Winter (end of november to mid-February) brings temperatures between 30 and 60 degrees, while you can expect 50 to 70 degree temperatures in both spring and winter. Summer (mid-May to mid-september) will reach between 70 and 90. The biggest weather threat is tornados and hurricanes. Hurricane season is from August to November. Tornadoes are most prevalent March through May.
