AWTR Show #921: Moving with MILLIE

If we said PCS time can be stressful and planning a PCS was overwhelming, no one would be shocked. At Moving with MILLIE, they’re flipping the script and saying that with a great team, you don’t have to be stressed and overwhelmed. They can help you feel calm, collected, and confident going into your next PCS. You don’t have to stress, and you don’t have to do this alone!

Securing housing tends to be the hardest part of the PCS. Look at the big picture of where everything is located, including gates, schools, where you will be spending the most time, etc. Take your time to learn how the PCS process works and what you are entitled to. And don’t forget that Moving with MILLIE can help you to make your next PCS stress-free.

Jennifer Herbek is an Army spouse and mom to four kids and one poodle.  She’s one of those rare souls that loves moving and thinks cardboard boxes, packing paper, and inventory sheets are exciting. She has logged more than 22 moves so far, and looks forward to exploring more new places, one PCS at a time! Her passion is cheering on fellow military families and equipping them with the information they need to navigate military life.

Listeners, if you would like to learn more about Moving with MILLIE, check out their website here, or connect with them on social media via Facebook, or Twitter.

Resource Recon with Chrissy and Kayla

This week’s Resource Recon is all about the plethora of free resources found on our Army Wife Network Website. The “New to the military” section is something that I wish I had when I was a young military spouse, clueless and drowning in acronyms. Thankfully, I was interested in learning more and began enrolling in every class that ACS offered, but I still feel like I’m learning new things each year.
