5 Back-to-School Resources

With some families already in the throes of back-to-school and some families enjoying their last few days of summer, we wanted to share some back-to-school resources to help ease the stress of returning to school and provide you with tools to ensure this is the best school year yet for your children.

1. KinderJam

KinderJam is a fun, new, exciting, high-energy Early Childhood Education learning program that emphasizes the learning by doing and learning by touching of pre-academic and academic skills concepts. Their classes and camps are for children ages 6 weeks to 8 years.

2. Military Impacted Schools Association

The Military Impacted Schools Association (MISA) is a national organization of school superintendents. Their mission is to serve school districts with a high concentration of military children.

3. Parents as Teachers

The Parents as Teachers builds strong communities, thriving families, and children who are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. They have all the resources you need to teach at home.

5. Tutor.com

Tutor.com provides online, on-demand tutoring for students. It’s simple to use, and you can access professional help, anytime, anywhere, at home, at school, or on the go. 6. United Through Reading

The United Through Reading Military Program helps ease the stress of separation for military families by having deployed parents read children’s books aloud via DVD for their child to watch at home.
