Amy L. Sullivan is the author of When More is Not Enough. For the past few years, Amy L. Amy lives in the mountains of North Carolina with her handsome husband, two daughters, naughty dog, and lazy cat. Hot on AWN this week:

In The Dreaded Orders to Kansas, AWN Experience Contributor Mindy shares how others reacted when they received news they were PCSing to Fort Riley. Many offered their condolences—only partly in jest. However, much to Mindy’s relief and delight, Kansas offers so much more than just miles of flat, boring prairie. Rich in history, wildlife and so much more, Mindy gives readers a more detailed list of things to do and see in this area than the installation website mentions.
