Additional Spouse Comments & Testimonials

“While stationed at a different base in Maryland, I was referred to at least three specialists at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I received wonderful care from each and found the services provided were beneficial to my health. The doctors were very knowledgeable, and it was well worth the approximate one hour drive to be seen by such highly qualified specialists. Overall, Bethesda seemed like a very nice area. It was very big and seemed to have plenty to do when driving through.” – Angie A.

I am the widow of a retired LTC/MSC officer who lives in Montgomery County. I notice you do not mention the beauty salon at the Base Exchange there at Bethesda. I have been going there since they reopened after closing for the pandemic. Evonne is a truly gifted stylist and does a wonderful job with my hair. Management almost closed this location due to not enough customer traffic. A lot of the problem is that most do not know it exists due to lack of advertising, etc. Hope you consider adding this location to your list of salons.

Barbara, Thank you for your response! We will add yur beauty salon at the Base Exchange to our post. I spent many hours at that exchange while my daughter was in treatment at Walter Reed. I even got a haircut there in 2018! I am so glad you take care of families- Thank you for what you do. I will let our new Content Curator know to add the salon. KP
